Artist Talk: Marching Is Art

"Halftime is game time.” It’s been decades since the film “Drumline” introduced the world to HBCU Marching Band culture. Since that time, the world has seen an influx in marching bands’ representation and influence, most notably in Beyoncé’s Coachella performance “Homecoming” in 2018. In the next installment of their Artist Talk series, Motor House seeks to give a literal voice and face to marching band culture right here in Baltimore City. “Marching Is Art” will see a panel discussion with Dr. Jorim Reid, Director Of Bands at Morgan State University and Antwann D. Smith, Director of Bands at Digital Harbor High School.
