Baltimore’s molecular make up is creativity. This city is bursting with talented people who are willing to share their work with us. We are honored to be a space where people feel comfortable being their whole selves, and sharing that on our walls and on our stages. Motor House hosts a variety of workshops, performances, gallery exhibitions, open mics, and more! We seek to support the ingenuity of Baltimore by renting our space to community organizations, independent artists, and creators of all types.
PROGRAMS
At Motor House, we are dedicated to providing a dynamic platform for artists to showcase their creativity and passion. By offering a variety of paid performance and exhibition opportunities, as well as an inclusive open mic format, we ensure that every artist has the chance to be seen and heard. Our programs are driven by the needs and feedback of our community, gathered through surveys, real-time insights, and lasting relationships with local creatives.
In response to this community-driven vision, Motor House proudly presents an exciting array of events, including a vibrant live music series, seven diverse gallery exhibitions, inspiring writing workshops, thought-provoking poetry readings, and uproarious comedy shows.
Additionally, we are committed to supporting emerging talent. To nurture the next generation of artists and producers, we offer subsidized performance space for up-and-coming creators to bring their visions to life. At Motor House, we don’t just showcase art—we cultivate it.
