Girls." by Marjuan Canady followed by a discussion with her about the short film.  This provocative and satirical one-woman play written by and starring Marjuan Canady, critiques the power of the media, celebrity culture and challenges society’s negative notions of black female identity. Rooted in the hip-hop theatre and feminist aesthetics, Girls! Girls?
